Roofing
We provide roofing services including comprehensive aerial inspections of the roof and the attic, repairs, replacements and new installations. Future Remodeling installs complete GAF roofing systems. That means superior protection, longevity and industry leading warranties. Future Remodeling also installs roofing from Brava and Drexel Metals, and installs roofs through the winter. Future Remodeling is a GAF Master Elite contractor, GAF Metal certified, a Brava authorized contractor and FORTIFIED certified. A lifetime limited workmanship warranty is available as an optional upgrade on qualifying full replacements. Your project consultant can walk you through it.

Siding
We provide siding services including thorough inspections of the siding and trim, repairs, replacements and new installations. Trim is part of the siding work. Future Remodeling installs siding from James Hardie, NewTechWood, Versetta Stone and Engage Building Products. Future Remodeling is a James Hardie Alliance Elite contractor and an EPA Lead-Safe certified firm.

Gutters
We provide gutter services including inspections, repairs, replacements and new seamless gutter installations. We check the gutters, the downspouts and the fascia board behind them. Future Remodeling installs seamless aluminum and copper gutters, plus LeafFilter and Shur Flo gutter guards. Water gets a clear path off the roof and away from the house.

Windows
We provide window services including consultations at your home, replacements and new installations. Future Remodeling installs windows from Andersen and Future Windows. Your project consultant reviews each window with you, inside and out, before you choose. When the siding is changing too, Future Remodeling installs the windows during the siding project. Each window is sealed and trimmed once.

Skylights
We provide skylight services including consultations, replacements and new installations, all installed with your roof. Future Remodeling installs VELUX skylights. We plan the location and the interior finish with the roof, and we seal every edge. Future Remodeling installs the skylight and flashing as part of the roofing system. Solar
We provide solar services including consultations and installation of GAF solar shingles. They are integrated into the roof and installed with it, not mounted on top of the shingles. Your project consultant reviews the roof, the sun exposure and the electrical needs. The solar roof and the shingle roof are planned as one project. Future Remodeling is GAF Solar certified.

Membrane Decking
We provide membrane decking services including inspections of the deck structure, slope and drains, and new installations. A membrane deck is a walkable waterproof surface for a rooftop deck, a balcony or a porch. Future Remodeling installs Dec-Tec membrane decking. We seal every edge, door threshold and wall joint to direct water away from the space below.

Are roof repair estimates free?
Yes. The inspection and the consultation are free. Your project consultant inspects your roof, siding, windows and gutters, and the attic when the roof is the question. We give you an honest and accurate recommendation, not a number guessed from the driveway. You see the samples and pick the products you like. We discuss your questions and build your estimate at that visit.
How can I check that a roofing company is legitimate?
Ask for the license number and look it up, ask who will be on your roof, and ask for the full scope before anyone starts. Be careful with a roofer who will not give clear answers to those three. Our licenses are NJ HIC 13VH13329600 and Westchester WC-39352-H25. GAF and James Hardie each publish their certified contractors. You can confirm Future Remodeling on their sites as a GAF Master Elite contractor and a James Hardie Alliance Elite contractor.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Future Remodeling is licensed and insured in New Jersey and in Westchester County, NY. Your project consultant brings proof of license and the insurance details to your consultation. You can check both before you decide anything.
How long does it take to replace a roof?
Most roofs are installed in one day. The time goes into the preparation. We order the materials and plan the work. Your Project Leader meets you before work begins. The crew arrives at the agreed time and works until every detail has been checked. A larger or steeper roof, a metal roof, or rotted wood under the shingles can add time. Your project consultant tells you what to expect for your house before you sign.
Should a 20 year old roof be replaced?
Not automatically, and that is why we inspect first. Your project consultant checks the roof and the attic below it, with an aerial drone where it helps. That shows whether the shingles, the flashing, the ventilation and the wood underneath are worn out or just showing their age. We give you an honest recommendation either way. What to look for in a siding contractor?
Look for an installer the manufacturer stands behind, an estimate that names every part of the wall, and reviews from homeowners near you. We are a James Hardie Alliance Elite contractor, and you can check that in the James Hardie contractor locator. Our estimate names the siding, the trim and the flashing. Flashing is what keeps water out where the siding meets a window, a door or the roof.
Should you replace windows before or after new siding?
Before, or better, in the same project. New siding is sealed and trimmed to each window. When your project consultant plans the two together, each window is sealed once and trimmed once. The windows, trim and siding fit together neatly. If your siding is staying, we replace the windows on their own. Your consultant shows you how the new trim will meet the siding you have.
