Our approach

We treat every home like our own.

That means complete transparency and attention to detail. We do not drop the price to win your project. We inspect your siding and trim through and through, and we may use a drone for an aerial view of the walls and roof edges. Then we give you an honest and accurate recommendation. Your project consultant brings samples and builds your personalized estimate at the same appointment, with the boards and colors you like. We build a 3D model of your house with the new siding so you can see how your home will look. You leave the visit with your answers and a clear picture of the project. Before work starts, we plan the schedule and how we protect your home and family during the work. Your Project Leader keeps you updated, so you can see what is happening at every step.

What Homeowners Say About Us

Questions and answers

Composite wood siding questions homeowners ask.

Can you replace cedar or wood siding with composite wood siding?

Yes. We remove the old cedar or wood siding and inspect the wall underneath. If repairs are needed, we provide a repair estimate and then schedule the service. Then Future Remodeling installs NewTechWood boards over a water barrier and supporting strips.

What is composite wood siding?

It is siding made to give your home a wood look. Future Remodeling installs NewTechWood capped composite wood boards, with a protective shell around each board.

Does NewTechWood siding need to be painted?

No. NewTechWood siding does not need painting. Paint or other coatings are not covered by its Stain and Fade Performance Limited Warranty. Compare samples at your consultation to choose the look you want.

What are the disadvantages?

Composite wood boards move with temperature and need room for that movement. Concentrated sunlight reflected from nearby windows can damage them. The siding also needs cleaning. We discuss these conditions when we inspect your home.

Can it be installed over existing siding?

No. NewTechWood says its siding cannot be installed over existing siding boards or directly on a flat surface. We remove the old siding, which lets us check the wall underneath for hidden damage.

Can damaged wood siding be repaired?

We inspect the siding and the wall underneath first. Where cedar or wood siding has rot or splits, we explain whether replacing it with composite wood boards makes sense for your home.

How much maintenance does it need?

It needs cleaning, and the amount depends on the conditions around your home. Mold, mildew and mineral deposits can occur. We confirm with NewTechWood which cleaning products it approves under the warranty.
