Our approach

Know what your siding needs before you decide.

We start by inspecting your existing siding, trim and visible . Flashing directs water away where siding meets windows, doors and the roof. We explain what we find and recommend the work your home needs. At the consultation, we build a 3D model of your house with the new siding so you can see how your home will look. Your project consultant brings samples to your consultation. We build your personalized estimate at that same visit and answer your questions. Before work starts, we review the schedule and how we protect your home.

Warranty

Understand the coverage before you choose.

CertainTeed covers its Monogram, MainStreet and Board & Batten vinyl siding against manufacturing defects with a lifetime limited warranty for the original owner of a single-family home. If the house is sold, the next owner gets a 50 year prorated warranty, and fade coverage does not transfer. CertainTeed does not cover the installation. A lifetime limited workmanship warranty is available as an optional upgrade on qualifying full replacements. Your project consultant can walk you through it.

What Homeowners Say About Us

Questions and answers

Vinyl siding questions homeowners ask.

Is vinyl siding a good choice in New Jersey?

It can be. Vinyl needs little upkeep beyond washing, and it comes in many colors and styles. It has to hang loose on its nails so it can move with heat and cold. If fire resistance, a painted look or a longer service life matter more to you, compare fiber cement. We install both and can price both for your house.

What vinyl siding brand do you install?

We install CertainTeed vinyl siding. Compare the CertainTeed lines and colors.

How long does vinyl siding last?

One industry estimate puts vinyl siding at about 60 years and fiber cement at over 100 years. How long yours lasts depends on the panel, the installation and how much sun and heat the wall gets.

Can vinyl siding be painted?

It can, but CertainTeed's warranty is void on vinyl siding painted over its original finish. If you may want a different color later, fiber cement siding can be repainted.

Why does vinyl siding warp or melt?

Usually heat or installation. Panels nailed too tight cannot expand, so they buckle. Heat from a grill or sunlight reflected off a nearby window can distort vinyl, and CertainTeed's warranty excludes that damage. We check for both at the inspection.

Can vinyl siding be installed over existing siding?

We do not. On a replacement, the old siding comes off so we can inspect the wall underneath. We address damage before installing the new water barrier and flashing. Then the new siding goes onto a wall we have checked.

Does CertainTeed's warranty cover installation?

No. CertainTeed's warranty covers manufacturing defects in the siding, not the installation. Ask your siding contractor about a separate workmanship warranty.
